It doesn’t matter who you are, there will almost always be people that will claim that The Goonies is one of the most classic movies ever and will remain so (hand raised). There were so many memorable characters in the movie that Brandon doesn’t always stand out as much as he should, but as the protector of his little brother and the group he is an important figure. He’s the quintessential buff guy despite having a working brain in his head, and as you might imagine he’s vexed by his little brother and his friends quite often. Brandon is that guy you know has a heart of gold but he’s so intent on getting what he wants out of life that he sometimes seems a little, well, rude and kind of boorish. But deep down Brandon is the guy that will stick up for the underdogs if only because he does value fair play. Continue here

Unfortuantely facebook have deactivated the page we had for impersonation even though it says UNOFFICIAL in the title. When I try to appeal it won’t let me and just states – try again later.

I shall be considering how to go about this over the next week, I may try some other option for site updates and news and not facebook

Why did three studios book new titles against Disney/Marvel’s Avengers: Endgame‘s second weekend? They truly believed they were counterprogramming the monster hit and could somehow survive: Lionsgate’s Long Shot with females, The Intruder with African Americans and STXfilms’ foray into feature animation UglyDolls aimed at young girls. They knew what they were doing and blaming Endgame–which is now looking at a $146.9M second weekend (currently the second best second weekend ever after Star Wars: Force Awakens’ $149.2M)–is like saying the dog ate their homework. One B.O. analytics source even cynically opines to us, “It’s quite conceivable that even without Endgame, none of these films would have performed.” Endgame can celebrate that it’s crossing $600M in a record 10 days by Sunday, faster than Force Awakens (12 days), Infinity War (26 days) and Black Panther (31 days).
